Swedish tiles
Our Swedish tiles are handcrafted in southern Närke, in the heart of Sweden. The clay, sourced from Denmark, is carefully processed and cut into our specific formats. Each tile is then dipped in glaze by hand. The color consists of a natural blend of minerals, dyed with ochre, iron, copper oxide, and ceramic pigments, among others. The result is a unique handmade tile with small irregularities in both color and shape, providing a beautiful and impactful variation when placed together. Interior architect Rebecka Haymoz has created a color palette where each shade and proportion is intentionally designed to match the Swedish natural stones.
